Giving Students The Benefit of Experience
So you want to be a criminal defense lawyer? I was asked to sit on a panel of lawyers at the University of Windsor discussing what it means to turns the study of law into the practice of law. Outside of learning case law and how to research students need to get a practical sense of what they are in for.
It was my pleasure to give students the opportunity to learn about what happens after graduation. The day to day workings of a criminal defense lawyer is busy, fast paced and multi faceted. It is always wonderful to see how energetic students are in their pursuit to become lawyers. I would like to thank the Law School for the opportunity and wish everyone luck in their upcoming exams.
